I am not sure who named it the Rio Grande , but I think they need to come and take another look. I could have cleared the river with a running start, but was scared that the border patrol would put me in prison with some flaming, latin, tamale and become his gringo chalupo. The SportsCrew Hummer made the long trek from San Antonio through El Paso to Tucson , Arizona on Friday. We had a chance to stop by Tombstone , Arizona where the famous gunfight at the OK Corral took place. The 13 hour drive was not very scenic through the desert of Texas and Arizona , but Tombstone gave me a sense of what the outlaws experienced when they were outrunning the law to the border back in the wild, wild, west. The wild, wild, west is still alive and well...just in a different way. They really know how to party. All of the bars close at 1:00 o'clock in Arizona , so everyone parties hard, in order to make up for lost time.
The SportsCrew Hummer rolled into Tucson and to Maloney's just minutes away from University of Arizona campus to party down with a packed house of college students and locals. We worked hard and played hard throughout the night promoting Olympic Sports Book, I-Vegas, and other sponsors of the Big Ten Tour. The staff of Maloney's was incredible. They went out of their way to start the promotion off with a bang. Tony, the DJ, was plugging all the sponsors throughout the night and we had tons of people come by to sign up for gifts and prizes. Arizona girls are not only gorgeous, they are also very approachable. I did not find any attitude when taking photos to post on the SportsCrew website. We capped off the night with a drawing for a trip to the Bahamas . The happy guy that won was elated saying, "I have never won anything in my life." His girlfriend was even more excited. Just chalk up another guy getting laid... And getting paid...on behalf of the SportsCrew and the Big Ten Tour. We are off to Phoenix on Saturday to party with Arizona 's cross state rivals at ASU. Thanks to all the staff and management of Maloney's for their hospitality and hard work to pull off another successful event on the Big Ten Tour.
