San Francisco is widely known as one of the hottest tourist destinations in the United States . The city is a huge melting pot for the arts, culture, politics, and what else...SPORTS. From the collegiate ranks all the way through the professional league, the bay area is saturated with hard core sports fans. From Palo Alto where the Stanford Cardinals have clinched the PAC-10 title and set their sites on the all elusive undefeated season all the way up to Oakland where the Raider Nation Bleeds silver and black, even in the off season. SportCrew left no stone unturned while promoting The Big Ten Tour in the Bay area. We started with trivia night at the Sports Page in Palo Alto to pull off another successful event that filled the house on a Thursday night. The questions were tough to give the academes of Stanford a challenge, but the champion was awarded a T-shirt, playing cards, and software compliments of SportsCrew, UltimateBet.com and Bet Jamaica.

After Sports Page, the SportsCrew Hummer cruised up to the world famous Condor Sports Bar off of Columbus Avenue to set up a table and spotlight Ultimate Bet.com and Olympic Sports Book and party down with the staff. The blue, translucent dance screen allowed the ladies to go up and strut their stuff on stage as the men in the crowd cheered them on. Saturday night the SportsCrew headed back out to Palo Alto , to hold a promotion at the Old Pro Sports Bar just minutes away from the Stanford campus. The crowd was a little small due to the rainy weather, but the SportsCrew Hummer put on its raincoat and ventured 30 minutes down the road to San Jose to do a little door to door promotion at the Voodoo Lounge, Toons, and the Mission Alehouse in downtown San Jose .

The week came to an end with the SportsCrew capping off another stop on the Big Ten Tour at Ricky's Sports Theatre and Grill in San Leandro . We signed the guest up for the motorcycle giveaway from I-Vegas, held a scavenger hunt for people to win T-shirts and prizes compliments of The World Poker Exchange, BetJamaica, and BetWWTS. Next week the SportsCrew does a fly-by in Reno to do a little door to door promo at the Casinos and then it's off to Denver for another week of events on the Big Ten Tour.
