Think European rock star bachelor pad complete with mirrored walls, Baccarat crystal chandeliers, rich leather booths and black walls. The club, a partnership between the Hard Rock and famed LA nightlife promoter Brent Bolthouse, was designed by Kelly Wearstler, who also designed the Hard Rock's new high-roller suites. The elegant decor makes you feel as if you're going to an exclusive, secret hideaway as you descend a nondescript staircase and head to the club, located underneath The Joint. The upper floor of Body English is lined with plush leather booths for bottle service guests. Be prepared to pay for the comfort -- there is a bottle requirement (one bottle per four people), and bottles average a minimum of $300 each. All the booths overlook the dance floor, which is crowned with a large crystal chandelier that changes colors as the evening progresses. A posh VIP area also is located on the upper floor, at the far end of the club -- offering an overview of all the action. For those who want to forgo the booths, there is a large bar upstairs that provides a fairly spacious area for mingling and plenty of room to stand and look out over the dancers below. The bottom floor of Body English offers more booths, a second bar and an "ultra-VIP" area so exclusive that VIPs can see out, but no one can see in. The room has its own bar and is soundproof so that the VIP patrons can have their own music selection inside. Women used to standing in interminable bathroom lines at Vegas clubs will be happy to hear there is an unusually large restroom, and it is as elegant as the rest of the club, complete with large gold swan faucet fixtures.
